This digital animation underlines the particularly gimmicky control that shopping advertisements and consumerist promotional material have over us as susceptible buyers. This work promotes the idea of saving responsibly rather than of spending unnecessarily, for the consumer becomes the consumed through an endless cycle of the avatar-as-shopper’s self-sustaining high.
